ABOUT US
Building Peace and strengthening the City
The relationship between ALERT, the community, the police, and law enforcement is built on collaboration and independent partnership.
With the mutual objective of creating a peaceful and strong region, we assist law enforcement with their outreach goals by bringing them face to face with the communities they serve.
ALERT identifies issues that “a” community faces and connects them with the police or law enforcement agency that can best address their concerns and in some cases meet the physical needs a community has.
ALERT is more than meetings. We believe in changing lives.
Our hope is that you will join us in this mission.

OUR MISSION
Building a Sustainable Future
ALERT’s mission is to make Capital Region communities safer by strengthening the bond between our residents and the police and law enforcement.
Step one is building trust, therefore ALERT promotes positive dialogue.
We know there are challenges to maintaining healthy relationships between our communities, the police and law enforcement agencies. This narrative changes when we talk openly and honestly.
Through open dialogue we realize that we are on the same team, striving for safety, health, peace, and prosperity for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
Change cannot happen until trust is built and trust cannot be built without having a relationship in place first. Relationships cannot be built until we get opposing entities face to face.
Through our partnership with community and police and law enforcement entities, we have a Collaborative Network that builds a bridge between these groups. This unlocks the wisdom within our communities so we can realize our greatest potential.
To improve our communities and heal our Capital Region home, it will take ALL of us. ALERT brings these entities together!
